Royal Enfield Cafe Racer teaser
At a recent motorcycle show in Long Beach California, the legendary Royal Enfield motorcycle makers were present and showed off their much anticipated Cafe Racer. First seen at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2012,
the RE Cafe Racer looks stylishly retro and sports a better performing
track tuned engine compared to other RE bikes. It comes fitted with a
535cc fuel injected engine that can produce 36bhp. Along with the fine
tuned engine it also sports a twin-spar tubular steel frame designed by
Harris Engineering, on the front it uses telescopic forks and the rear
gets a set of gas-charged shock absorbers bolted onto an elliptical tube
swingarm. The bike is also 21 kilograms lighter than other RE bikes
making it quite easy to handle and able to perform better. The all new
Cafe Racer is expected to launch in the US market sometime this year,
but we are still waiting for news on when the bike will be launched in
India and at what price bracket.
