Tata Motors to launch Indica Vista D90 on January 28, 2013

Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has announced its plans to unveil the new car Indica Vista D90 on January 28, 2013. The launching session will take place at the Buddh International Circuit near Noida.

The new car is reported to be equipped with a 1.3 liter Quadrajet engine which offers a power of 88 bhp, higher than that of the existing Vista car models which offer 75 bhp of power. The new car engine will also offer 200 Nm of torque output instead of 190 Nm as in case of the existing models. The carmaker will also introduce the Variable Geometry Turbocharger technology in the new Vista D90 car model.

Among other changes in the Indica Vista D90, the instrument cluster will be positioned behind the steering wheel instead of the center as found in the existing car models of Vista. This change has been implemented in accordance with the customer feedback. The company also claims to have improved the suspension system of the new car model.

The new Indica Vista D90 will be offered in two variants, namely the VX and the ZX. While the VX variant will be priced at Rs 6,00,000 and is equipped with anti-lock braking systems and electronic break-force distribution, the ZX variant priced at Rs 6,60,000 will feature alloy wheels and airbags as well.
