How to travel in style
It's holiday time again and we're sure you're planning a great trip in the near future. While looking your casual best, you may also wish to look fashion forward. Here are a few tips to travelling in style.

1. Keep your make-up simple and minimal
Skip the heavy foundation and opt for a tinted moisturiser instead. Travelling makes your skin dry and flaky if not well taken care of. So moisturise your skin well if you do not want to end up at the destination with dry and dull skin. Also, you can keep the remaining look fresh by using mascara and a tinted lip balm instead of applying dark shades of lipstick and blusher.

2. Carry a cute backpack or a carry-on
Ditch those extremely depressing nudes, greys, blacks and whites and go for bags in bright shades and cute detailing. They will certainly give you a holiday feel. Also make sure your bag has more zippers and pockets as they help you store extras like a bottle of water.

3. Say bye-bye to heels
For a change, pack your heels and keep them back in your shoestand. Since you are going on a holiday, you may have to run to catch a train or a flight and you'll certainly not be able to do that in your high heels. Flats aren't always boring. They can be funky ones in metallic shades, cute prints, jewels and little details. Flats will help you jump, skip and hop your way to the destination.

4. Pyjamas are a strict no-no
There is a fine line between looking relaxed and downright sloppy. So ditch the pyjamas that you wear at home and opt for casual capris and worn-in jeans. They look good and are comfortable at the same time. If you do not wish to wear something that hugs your legs, a maxi skirt or a short floral-print dress is also a great option.

5. Add layers
Layering is the best thing to do when you want to travel in style without feeling too hot or cold. Since planes can get freezing cold, keeping a cardigan or a jacket handy works well. Depending on the temperature, you can just remove a layer as soon as your plane has landed. Carry plain knit wear basic colours like black and white as they will look good on everything you wear. If you can carry prints, experieent with them too. A nice oversized cardigan will also do the needful.

6. Pack a stylish hat
A bad hair day can be tough to deal with when you're on a holiday. A cute knit hat or a fedora will easily help you hide your frizzy tresses without even giving a slightest hint. Pair your you stylish hat with a maxi dress or a jumpsuit and you're ready to go.
